neighborhood at the age of three goes award winner by the age of six, authentic speed metal drummer by the age of 8, club-rocker by the age of 14 and ultimately six time world DJ champion (current world record) by the age of 25.

Ten years of craft and experience combined with a genuine passion for contemporary culture have transformed this still young and handsome chap into an institution.

Rafik has toured the world from Europe to the US to Asia and back playing memorable sets at FABRIC (London), WATERGATE (Berlin), PUNK (Beijing), VOLAR (Hong Kong), REX (Paris), APOLLO (London) and many other high profile venues.

He has shared stages and gained praise from the likes of SOULWAX, DIPLO, MAJOR LAZER, BOYS NOIZE, SKREAM, LOCO DICE, A-TRAK, J-DILLA, WU-TANG, ?UESTLOVE, Q-BERT and many others.

Rafik's dedication and the years of international club experience combined with the craft and showmanship of a World Champion guarantee highly unique and eclectic sets - merging the best of house, electronica, rock, hip hop, dubstep and dancehall - all spiced up yet never overloaded with the finesse of a champion. Because music will always come first.

In a somewhat more leftfield area Rafik is currently amongst the spearhead visionaries taking dj-ing to a new level (his demo videos using TRAKTOR have been viewed by more than 2.5 million people on youtube.
At the time one video came on first page after searching for "DJ").

Another unique project: Rafik teamed up with his dad in 2010 and re-wrote Antonio Vivaldi's "Winter" to a duet for turntables and violin. Father and son performed this revolutionary piece of art with the Dusseldorf Symphonic Orchestra in January 2010 – it was a huge success.
